I purchased this book to use for a unit on Biodiversity for my 6th grade homeschooled daughter. One of the things which attracted me to this book was it's storytelling style. This book does not read like a text book, yet does a nice job at conveying a solid knowledge about the importance of biodiversity in our world. I firmly believe a child doesn't need to read a dry text book to get what they need about a subject. This book was great in that sense. The photos were also a very nice accompaniment to the text. I also found it quite easy to write my own worksheets with review questions for each chapter. I recommend this book for grades 5-8.Product details
